    Klaxons are surfing the void

Klaxons played a riotous show in Scotland on Tuesday as part of the build up to the release of new album ‘Surfing The Void.’  In the first of three intimate gigs, the band seized the opportunity to road test the new songs.

The Independent described ‘Echoes,’ the album’s first single as “a real epic,” and went on to say, “Yes, Klaxons definitely do still have it.” The 4 star review likened a tender performance of album track ‘Venusia’ to the “galloping drums” found on Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill.’

Klaxons are set to play at London’s Village Underground on 27th July. ‘Echoes’ is released on 16th August with ‘Surfing The Void’ to follow on 23rd
